Webinar Description:
On-line measuring systems are becoming more and more popular and with a growing number of measuring points in the industrial sector there is an urgent need to simplify and automate the use of Condition Monitoring systems. In this Webinar a “Decision Support System” (DSS) from SPM Instruments will be presented. The DSS is automatically collecting large number of vibration data during a “training phase” establishing a “normal vibration behavior”, in the “operating mode” new values will be compared with the vibration signatures established in the training phase and deviations will be presented as a “health score” and evaluation colors.
A new and innovative signal quality evaluation will also be presented. The signal quality evaluation is automatically detecting ski slope contents, signal to noise ratio and bias stability over time. This is far more advanced than the simple bias voltage test.
The purpose of the “Decision Support System” is to simplify, automate and help the users to make the right decisions.

Learning Takeaways:
-An understanding of statistical parameters like standard deviation
-Health scores and color evaluations
-Signal quality assessment
