Using Ultrasound to Improve Reliability
It is very common for failure modes to be identified which are nothing to do with bearings and rotating machines. Within the world of bearings, it is generally regarded that lubrication failure is the largest single initiator of failure. We also know that there are defects which do not follow the classic, much-quoted, P-F curve – defects for which trending has little use.
If we know all of these things, what are we doing about them?
This presentation reviews how useful Ultrasound can be to help you implement a broad-ranging improvement strategy.

Safe & Accurate Electrical Inspections with Thermography
Electrical asset inspection and maintenance is not just one of the most important tasks in a facility, but it is one of the most dangerous as well. The proper use of thermographic technology is vital to retrieving accurate data during an inspection to properly trend the health, performance, and condition of critical electrical assets. The process by which the data is collected must be focused on allowing the inspector to achieve accurate readings of the equipment, while at the same time providing a safe environment for the inspector to avoid the risks of electrocution and arc flash.
