Webinar Description:
Electrical and current signature analysis (ESA/MCSA) are similar to vibration analysis and use the air gap magnetic field as the transducer. This allows for analysis of the complete system at once while also eliminating effects of fault detection based on load. Instead, the limit on ESA/MCSA load is based upon the resolution of the spectral data and the evaluation in decibels.
In this presentation we will demonstrate both ESA and MCSA using two separate systems comparing various loads. This will also demonstrate how expert-ESA/MCSA combined with ML/AI can both immediately detect existing conditions as well as long-term anomaly detection. We will also use the opportunity to demonstrate changes in losses in bearings under different load conditions.
