Praveen is leading the Reliability & Asset Management (REAM) SBU at Special Oilfield Services (SOS) Oman, the leading organization in Oman present since 1986, providing high quality and ‘most optimal’ mechanical, instrumentation, condition monitoring, chemical solutions and services to the major Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power plants and allied industries. REAM provides all Reliability, Condition Monitoring & Asset Management solutions and services to all the Oil & Gas majors in Oman & Middle East.

He holds an Electronics & Communications BTech with an MBA degree having 21+ years of experience in predominantly Customer Support & Business development for Turbine Supervisory & Vibration Monitoring Systems along with Vibration Testing, Vibration Condition Monitoring, Operations Management, Project Engineering.

He has worked for prestigious organisations like IGCAR, IRD Mechanalysis®, Meggitt Sensing Systems® and Structural Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He has published more than 20 technical papers in the leading International journals & Conferences and has been a distinguished speaker at National & International Vibration Condition Monitoring, Reliability & Asset Management Seminars & Forums. He has attained the coveted Vibration Analyst Cat III and Asset Reliability Practitioner-Advocate (ARP-A) certifications from Mobius Institute, Australia, and is a Life Member of Condition Monitoring Society of India (COMSOI), fellow member of COUNCIL OF VIBRATION SPECIALISTS, member of Vibration Institute, US and International Society of Automation (ISA), US.
