    Test Oil

The Karl Fischer Test is used to determine the amount of water in the oil. Water can seriously damage the lubricating properties of oil and promote component corrosion. This test is added free of charge with every positive crackle. Our technician places a prepared vial with sample into an automated sample introduction tray. The sample is then heated, drawn into a needle, and run through a titrator. Results are recorded as a percentage.
