About the Presenters:
Michael Hastings is a Sr. Application Engineer with Brüel & Kjær Vibro, where he has been working for the past 33 years. Here he has worked with developing various condition monitoring strategies and optimization techniques for various machines, and is currently working with strategic market development, analysis and communications. He has written numerous articles, papers and webinars on machine condition monitoring, especially in the LNG industry. He is also convenor for an ISO work group for creating standards for condition monitoring and diagnostics of machines.
Mark Hullinger has worked for Williams for 23 years in the Northwest and the Gulfcoast regions. He is currently working as a Rotating Equipment Engineer for the Technical Services Group on Northwest Pipeline. He has worked as a Corrosion Engineer, Blasting Analyst, Engine Analyst, Vibration Specialist, and Project Manager. He graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical & aerospace engineering and holds a minor in Portuguese.
Mark has worked in various businesses before becoming an engineer. He has worked for Boeing on the Minuteman Missiles, several hotels, a machine shop, and for the Hullinger Mortuary (which is a family-owned business he grew up in). Mark enjoys riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, water skiing, wake surfing, snow skiing, scouting, petroglyphs, yoga, pilates, fishing, and all sports. Mark has recently coached track and little league baseball. Mark and his wife Wendy have four children.
